It's almost time for the ball, and we have nothing to wear! Join us while we create an entire gown in one day and learn more about the styles and trends of the Regency period.

About the Event
The ball is fast approaching, and we have nothing to wear!
Step back into the Regency and witness history come to life one stitch at a time. Join us for a day of living history as a skilled team of seamstresses recreate a circa 1812 gown using period-appropriate materials, tools, and techniques - all in just one day!
Guests can drop in at the summer dining room at Woodburn Historic House throughout the day to observe the gowns progress, ask questions, explore Woodburn, and learn about early 19th century fashion. The first cut will be made at 10am, sleeves will be patterned on a live model at 2pm, and the gown will be fully completed around 4 pm!
Tickets: $10 General Admission | $5 Students and Seniors | Free for guests under 5
