Tour Ashtabula and Woodburn
A docent will welcome and guide you through the house as you learn about past residents as well as their furnishings, clothing, and ways of life. Just like in the past, neither of our historic homes has modern heat or air conditioning! Be sure to dress for the weather to assure your comfort.
Walk Up Tours:
No reservation is needed - walk-up tour locations and times:

Ashtabula: Sundays at 2pm and Thursdays at 10 am

Woodburn: Sundays at 3:30pm
Special Tours by Reservation:
Tours at both houses for groups of five or more can be arranged three or more days in advance depending on volunteer tour guide availability. Please call (864) 646-7249 or email us at pendleton.hf@gmail.com for more information.
Tour Fees:

$10 for adults

$5 for students/children under 18

Free for age 5 and under.
Cash or check only, please. The fee will be collected at the time of your tour.
Historic House Information:

Ashtabula is a charming two-story clapboard house (c.1825) situated on ten acres of open ground and located approximately three miles east of Pendleton on SC Highway 88. Get Turn-by-Turn Directions to Ashtabula.

Woodburn is a graceful four-story clapboard plantation house (c.1830) conveniently located on twelve acres of land just off of US76, across from the TriCounty Technical College campus and just nine miles north of I-85 (Exit 19B). Get Turn-by-Turn Directions to Woodburn.​​​​
