Read about our bride’s experiences with Woodburn and Ashtabula:
“We thoroughly enjoyed your venue for the Kessler/Kay wedding. The grounds were beautiful despite tropical storm Nate. Roger Chapman from the Floral shop could not have been a better wedding coordinator and florist. The food was delicious from Boulevard Catering! Everyone worked so well together! We had a wonderful time despite the bad weather! Thanks so very much!”

“My husband and I were married in June 2008 at Woodburn Historic Home. We loved the “old south” atmosphere of the home and really appreciated its historic significance. Woodburn provided an elegant, yet laid-back atmosphere for us and our guests and we couldn’t have been happier with the grounds or the folks at the Historic Foundation!”

“I loved my wedding at the Woodburn Historic House. I think it was special because it was such a beautiful setting. We got married in front of the barn house out back and had the reception in front of the main house”

“My name is Janice Sargent and my daughter got married at the Woodburn Plantation on July 25th, 2009. It was truly a beautiful event! Both the bride and groom are Clemson graduates so it was a perfect location for a wedding that had a true “Clemson Tiger appeal.” As an outdoor venue, the house provides a lovely setting, and the barn area is great for the reception. We had around 200 guests, a dance floor, seating for everyone for the wedding and reception, and a large tent for food. Space was not an issue and the guests did not have to travel to a new location for the reception. We also set up an area on the front lawn for a candy table, memory table and gifts. We served light refreshments there before the reception started, while we took pictures. It was very nice and guests took take tours of the house during that time. We felt it was a perfect venue for the romantic, eclectic feel my daughter wanted.”
