Basic Rental Package

The Basic Rental Fee includes :

1. The grounds for both the wedding ceremony and/or reception for 8 continuous hours on the day of the event, including time for set-up/decorating and clean up afterwards.
2. A small, on-site catering prep kitchen on the ground floor.
3. The dressing area on the ground floor for the bridal party.
4. The House Museum, which will be opened the event for wedding guests to tour.
5. A complimentary hour for a wedding rehearsal on the day before the event.
6. A complimentary hour for a wedding portrait sitting prior to the event.

Full Service Rental Package

In addition to the basic rental package, we can arrange, for most of your wedding needs with Tri-County Rental, located in Easley, SC found at www.tricountyrentals.com, including:

• Chairs, tables, and linens
• Tents
• Dance floor

*Tents are recommended in case of inclement weather and to provide a base for extra lighting if needed. The cost of rentals is dependent on the items desired and can be developed on request.

* Caterers, certified wedding planners, and wedding officiants can be arranged by the bridal party through our reccomendations provided on our preferred list, or arrangements may be made through the bride's choice.

*Rental Fees vary depending on the number of guests anticipated and allow for the use of grounds for up to 8 hours. Below are our prices effective August 2011:

• Up to 150 Guests: $1,500
• 150 - 200 Guests: $1,600
• 200 - 250 Guests: $1,700
• 300 - 400 Guests: $1,800

Small Events/Weddings - Fees for the use of the grounds for small events (less than 50 guests) requiring no more than 5 hours is available at the rate of $150/hour, with a 3 hour minimum.

Security Deposit

An additional $500 refundable security deposit is required to cover any damage, over-run of time, or extra clean-up. The security deposit, minus any extra charges, will be returned within 30 days after the event.

Photo Session Only

$35 for outside photo sitting $45 for both inside and outside photo sitting

Event Calendar 

Our wedding season is April - July and September - October. Saturday wedding dates in the Fall are dependent on the Clemson University home football schedule since Woodburn is located on the main traffic route to the stadium. Friday evening wedding dates are offered as an alternative. Please consult our event calendar to determine if your desired date is available.

Membership Discount

Members of the Pendleton Historic Foundation receive a 10% discount on rental rates, i.e., rental fee for a wedding with up to 150 guests would be only $1,000. Membership opportunities are available for individuals, families, or patrons. Please click here to see our membership page. Pleae note that membership discounts only apply to membership donors of $50 or more. These rates are effective for 2010 events only.

Additional Hours

Additional hours (maximum of two) can be scheduled in advance at the rate of $150 per hour, although the event must be concluded by 11:00PM. Please request a copy of lease agreement for full details. Certain restrictions may apply to indoor photo sessions.
