A visitor's perspective on why we should continue our tours:

“I just wanted to comment on our recent tour (on the 18th of May) of Ashtabula.  The tour guide was excellent and made the tour a most enjoyable one.  She was very knowledgeable of Ashtabula, the plantation life, plantation society, and surrounding area including other plantations  I believe her name was Ellen, she is a retired Flint, MI school teacher.  She is really a plus for your foundation.  We also toured Woodburn in March, 2009 and there we also had a great guide, but I don't remember her name.  I think the foundation should be very proud of these two ladies and I appreciate the ladies for their knowledge and good spirit.  These ladies are a great asset to your foundation.”
